Matron and her staff aim to provide the highest level of service and care, in a
homely environment, enabling residents to enjoy the best available quality of
life, whilst emphasising the need to maintain independence.
Philosophy
We aim to create an environment with an underlying philosophy that those who
live in their care should do so with dignity and have the respect of those who
support them. Residents will live as full and active a life as their physical
and mental condition will allow. Their health and well being of residents is of
the utmost importance. Staff are motivated to provide the same care and
consideration as they would their own family, together with the provision of
considerate and sympathetic nursing care by qualified staff at all times.
We have established and will maintain a dual registration, which allows the
widest possible range of care for our residents within a single home.
The objective is that there need be no physical transfer from one home to
another when a resident’s condition changes.
All of the multi-disciplinary team participate in our in-service training
programme with the objective of finding the optimum balance between the
provision of safety and security and allowing the utmost level
of independence,
choice and control for residents.
